Open planning

With initialization of a bucket, you transitioned into the “Open planning” phase. You now can interact with the planning and perform modifications.

When adding orders the Plotwise API will allocate them to the most optimal route.

But that's not all the adjustments we expect you to do. We also expect that you will:

• Adjust orders information
• Change the location
• Retrieve suggestions
• Select a time in which the delivery must be performed

Freezing ETAs

A bucket in a initialised state may be transitioned (optionally) into a frozen state. The event ETAs will be frozen within a window before/after seconds provided when the bucket is frozen. The ETA can move within this frozen window. Freezing ETAs Events will not be frozen, still allowing events to shift between routes.

Retrieve information

In this phase it is possible to retrieve a tentative plan.

Finalize the bucket

When you want to retrieve the “final” plan (e.g. you want to stop adding or adjusting orders) to execute, you call “finalize”. This operation initiates a final optimization and retrieves the most optimal plan.
